Oceanteam Solutions facilitates the submarine cable industry by offering its clients a full and integrated range of equipment and services for offshore cable laying on- and offshore cable storage, cable handling, and cable transport.
Track record
Oceanteam Solutions has a long track record in the offshore renewables and oil and gas industry. We have a pool of experienced staff plus equipment, vessels and engineering capabilities to provide a complete range of Lloyd’s ISO certified solutions.
Turntables
Our demountable turntables can be easy transported on open trucks and can be shipped worldwide in 40FT open top containers; all turntables can be increased or downgraded to the applicable tonnage and are up to 5000T demountable available.
Cable handling
Oceanteam Solutions provides technical support for the offshore wind cable projects and oil and gas cable projects. We can perform cable handling activities at our own cable storage base in Velsen Noord, The Netherlands, but also both the equipment and the cable crew can be mobilised to work at any worldwide project location.
Cable storage
Our cable storage facility is situated immediately behind the North Sea locks of IJmuiden, in the direct proximity of Amsterdam. The harbour is only 1.5 NM inward from sea and berths are safe and free of tidal movement. Another major benefit of the area is the easy accessibility for all modalities, such as good shipping possibilities to the inlands of Europe. Cable storage units (static tanks, turntables, cable baskets, reels) can be placed at every desired position and in every size.
