4000T Demountable turntable for Bohlen & Doyen arrives in the Netherlands
Oceanteam Solutions’ 4000t demountable turntable has been delivered to the company’s yard in Velsen Noord, the Netherlands, where it will be prepared for Bohlen & Doyen’s cable laying project early next year.
After completing a transport job for LS Cable, the system was shipped from Dubai to the Netherlands in 29 40 ft containers. The upcoming period will be used for maintenance and modifications before it continues its journey to Poland for mobilisation.
Oceanteam Solutions won a contract with Bohlen & Doyen GmbH to supply a lay spread for a cable laying project in Germany. The lay spread includes a 4000t demountable turntable and loading tower with built-in tensioner. The contract has a duration of one year, plus options.
