Oceanteam Solutions forms alliance with Mubarak Marine Dubai for cable storage and equipment
Oceanteam Solutions is pleased to announce that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Mubarak Marine Dubai for the rental of cable storage, turntables, tensioners and additional cable equipment from Mubarak’s facility in Dubai.
Mubarak and Oceanteam Solutions aim to offer clients a full and integrated range of services comprising engineering, cable laying equipment, cable storage, cable handling and cable transport.
This cooperation is in line with both companies’ future plans to secure availability for this type of equipment at several ports worldwide, thereby minimising transport and mobilisation costs for their clients.
Highly cost-effective
Oceanteam Solutions is storing its 2000t/4000t demountable turntable at Mubarak’s facility. The system will be available for offshore cable and flexible pipe laying as well as onshore cable storage. This modular system can be delivered to mobilisation sites in 40 ft containers. This means the equipment can be transported by sea and road to any port in a highly cost-effective manner. All system components are ’plug and play’ and interchangeable. The 4000t turntable is delivered in such a manner that it can be upsized and downsized to the required load capacity turntable within a short period of time.
