Oceanteam’s South Sailing Team 2nd at North Sea Regatta
In May, the South Sailing team, sponsored by Oceanteam, won the second place overall in the SB20 class at the North Sea Regatta. The North Sea Regatta is the biggest sailing event in Northern Europe, which attracts more than 2500 sailors. The team, composed of the talented sailors Johan Ravier, Hélène Peroche, Alexia Barrier and Sal Halbesma, is very happy with the results after an intense battle.
The SB20 class ended up being the largest fleet, with 19 entries from five different nations (France, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland). The first place was won by the Dutch team lead by Marco van Driel. Second runner up was the French South Sailing team and the British team, including Jerry Hill and Alan Hillam, came third.
