Vessel in the spotlights: our Fast Support Vessels
Oceanteam owns, charters and manages state-of-the-art deepwater offshore support vessels, including four Fast Support Vessels (FSV). Our FSVs are primarily intended for crew transfer, urgent resupply and the transport of response teams and equipment. All of our FSV’s are currently on long-term contracts. Our four FSV’s in a nutshell.
1. FSV Mantarraya
This FSV was built in 2006 in Singapore and is able to accommodate 75 persons. The FSV Mantarraya is an Axebow design and operates in Mexico and VenezuelaSome specifications:
- Type: Fast Support Vessel, moderate environment (HS<2.5m)
- Area Notation: Gulf of Mexico 100 nm from offshore
- Length OA: 33.25 m
- Beam: 6.80 m

2. FSV Icacos
The FSV Icacos has a 110 m2 clear working deck with a cargo capacity of 40 tonnes and a structural strength of 2 t/m² . The vessel, which was delivered in 2015, can accommodate 96 passengers and a 10 men crew, and has a service speed of 25 knots. And of course this FSV is designed to meet the international requirements.Some specifications:

- GRT: 280 tonnes
- Length OA: 40.37 m
- Beam: 7.50 m

3. FSV Tiburon
The FSV Tiburon operates in Mexico and Venzuela and is also an Axebow design. The vessel is able to accommodate 75 persons and was built in 2006 in Singapore.Some specifications:

4. FSV Cobos
This Fast Support Vessel can accommodate up to 96 passengers with a service speed of 25 knots, and is designed to meet the strict Mexican requirements. The vessel also has a structural strength of 2 t/m² and has a 110 m2 clear working deck with a cargo capacity of 40 tonnes. FSV Cobos was delivered in 2015.Some specifications:

GRT: 280 tonnes
Length OA: 40.37 m
