Oceanteam Solutions secures new contract for supplying carousels and crew for subsea cable transport

Oceanteam Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract for renting out two 2000t demountable carousels, technicians and engineering services to a client within the project logistics segment. The equipment and services will be used for subsea cable transport and loadouts that will take place from October this year until the beginning of next year.
For this specific project, the two 2000t carousels will be customized with smaller basket outer diameters to fit client’s vessel. Oceanteam has already started on the engineering and modifications of the carousels. Mobilisation of the equipment will take place at Oceanteam’s base in Amsterdam and Velsen, the Netherlands, from where the client’s vessel will head to North Europe to pick up the cables before it continues its journey to the Far East. Oceanteam’s experienced technicians will assist during mobilisation and demobilization of the equipment and during cable loadouts in both ports.
